Our History
In the mid-1990s, a funeral director became increasingly concerned about a growing need within the Deathcare community. He decided his purpose was to fill that need. That funeral director was our Founder, Gary Darychuk. Gary founded Directors’ Choice in 1997. Over the years, we have successfully handled millions of calls, welcomed over 1000 clients, and been honored with a dozen awards. Now, more than 20 years later, we are still providing award-winning answering services to funeral homes and others in the Deathcare community all over North America.
