Karrie, Telephone Service Representative

To say that Karrie has followed a "varied" career path since her high-school graduation would be an understatement! She studied cosmetology (the art of hair and make-up), which she continues to enjoy, attended community college and became an apprentice funeral director, and then went on to study and work as a pharmacy technician before joining the Directors' Choice team in January 2009.

Karrie's family is just as interesting and varied. In addition to her Mom and Dad, she has one sister, two nephews and one niece -- plus her boyfriend, a rottweiler named Kacey, and two cats, Minnie and Fonzie, rounding out her household!

Karrie enjoys crafts, off-roading, day trips (which she takes every weekend) and volunteering to do make-up for a local movie-production company. Her favorite TV viewing includes extreme sports, the History Channel and the Discovery Channel.

Traveling has taken Karrie across Canada (growing up, she spent her summers in Prince Edward Island), down the entire eastern seaboard to Florida and overseas to Egypt. Where to next? Karrie is saving her pennies for a trip to either Greece or France.

Her philosophy on life? We live life looking forward . . . we understand it looking backward.
